Although RGH Investigations services law firms and insurance companies, private citizens are more and more taking matters into their own hands in order to uncover what’s going on in their own family. We’ll be discussing a couple of cases that have come up from private citizens this month as well as next month. Let’s take a look at the first one.
A Good Girl
A family contacted us to learn the whereabouts of their daughter. She is of legal age, graduated from college, holding down a job but is back living with her parents until she gets herself settled. Her college tuition was fully paid for by her parents so she didn’t carry any loans or debt. Since she’s starting out, the parents wanted to be supportive of their daughter and allowed her to come back home to save money.
Where is She Going at Midnight?
However, they suspected something more was going on. On a couple of nights per week, they found that she was missing from her room. They didn’t know what time she was leaving, what time she got back, nor did the parents know where she was going in the middle of the night. They wanted to find out without their daughter’s knowledge where she was off to in the middle of the night.
RGH to Find Out
They hired RGH Investigations to find out. We conducted a surveillance understanding her patterns and where she was going all day and night. As the parents said, she was at work all day, dressed professionally and came home right after work. At around 12:30 a.m. she would sneak out of the home. Sometimes through her bedroom window, other times the front door. She got into her car, which was always parked in the driveway and leave from there.
The Result
We followed her about 10 miles away to a strip club. We posed as a customer and went inside to understand what she was doing. We found that she was making extra money as a stripper for the club. We reported back to her parents where she was and what she was doing. It was more of a surprise to us to find the parents nodding their heads as this was not a shock to them. We turned it over to the parents to take whatever action (or non-action) as a result.
